Located right on Elma G Miles Pkwy near the Willowbrook Plaza area (just down from Izola's Country Cafe), Team Kalista Martial Arts has established itself as the premier academy for authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the county. We are proud to be the only academy in town led by an IBJJF-credentialed instructor with a proven international competition record.

For years, locals thought they had to drive all the way to Savannah's crowded BJJ scene to find high-level instruction. That changed when Professor Kaelum Kalista opened our doors in October 2021. Since then, we've built a community dedicated to real technique, leverage, and results—without the long-term contracts or hidden fees you'll find at other gyms.

Our commitment to the area was quickly recognized when we were voted the 2021 Coastal Courier "Best of Liberty" for Best Recreational Facility. But the real reward is seeing our students grow. Training Options for Every Goal

We offer a comprehensive schedule designed to fit your life. Our kids program runs five days a week, separated by age groups to ensure focused, safe instruction. For adults, we offer dedicated beginner classes, advanced fundamentals in both Gi and No-Gi, MMA, and specialized law enforcement training.
